Damien Lecarpentier is Director for International Collaborations & Partnerships at CSC, Finland’s IT Center for Science. Damien holds an MA in Political Science and a PhD in Social Sciences from EHESS, Paris. He joined CSC in 2009 and has held various managerial positions in advanced computing, data management, and e-Infrastructure policy. He managed the European Data Infrastructure (EUDAT) initiative from 2011 to 2017 and has held leading positions in strategic European projects related to the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC). Damien now leads CSC’s European and global activities, supporting the acquisition and development of EU projects and engagement in strategic international initiatives as well as collaborations with global stakeholders.
