Kosuke Nakano
Kosuke Nakano received his B.Sc. from Kyoto University in 2012, M.Sc. from Kyoto University in 2014, and Ph.D. from JAIST in 2017. In 2014, he became a researcher at the Innovative Research Center in AGC Inc. (formerly Asahi Glass Co., Ltd.), Japan. In 2018, he started a postdoctoral research fellowship in Prof. Sandro Sorella’s group at International School for Advanced Studies (SISSA) in Italy. He is currently a staff scientist at the National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS) in Japan. He has contributed to a European Center of Excellence, TREX (Targeting Real Chemical Accuracy at the Exascale) project for about four years.
His research interests focus on ab initio quantum Monte Carlo, density functional theory, and materials informatics. His works have been published as about 55 papers in various international journals, and his research activity is recognized internationally with an h-factor of 20 and over 1000 citations (source Google Scholar).
