Fabio Affinito, PhD in Physics, is responsible for the Application Support Team in the HPC department of CINECA.

He has been working since 2010 to porting and optimization in the domain of Material Sciences and Molecular Dynamics. Fabio has been working in several European projects and he is now particularly committed in the MaX CoE. He is coordinating the CINECA effort for the porting and optimization of the Quantum ESPRESSO application.

In HANAMI he will take care of the initiatives of collaboration in the area of Material Science and evolution of HPC infrastructures.
