Dr. Takahito Nakajima was granted a Ph. D. degree from Kyoto University, Japan 1997, majoring in Quantum Chemistry (Theoretical Chemistry). He was a Research Associate at the University of Tokyo (1999–2003), a Lecturer at the University of Tokyo (2003–2004), and an Associate Professor at the University of Tokyo (2004–2009). He is currently a team leader of the computational molecular science research team at the RIKEN Center for Computational Science (2010–). His research interests involve the novel development of quantum chemistry theory, algorithms, and software, which will be realized through high-performance computing.
