Leo Arriola holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC). He has work experience in embedded software, data analysis, and visualization.

For the past two years, he has been working at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center as a workflow developer. His primary responsibility has been developing and maintaining a workflow for the ICON model within the context of the Destination Earth project. This role has involved extensive work with the Autosubmit metascheduler, as well as the compilation and execution of ICON through its run scripts.

His principal research interests lie in climate modeling, climate adaptation, and reproducibility in scientific research.
