Piotr Dziekan holds a PhD in physics from the Université Pierre et Marie Curie and in chemistry from the Institute of Physical Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences.

After obtaining his PhD, Piotr joined the Institute of Geophysics of the Faculty of Physics at the University of Warsaw to work in atmospheric physics. Piotr is the main developer of the University of Warsaw Lagrangian Cloud Model, a large eddy simulation tool for cloud modeling. Piotr has been involved in Polish and European research projects and has led project from the Polish National Science Centre.
