Maijastiina Arvola
IT Center for Science - CSC
Maijastiina Arvola is a Program Manager for Global Collaboration at CSC – IT Center for Science, the Finnish ICT center of expertise supporting research, development and innovation activities. She manages the portfolio of CSC’s collaborations outside Europe, and is involved in EU and nationally funded, and global initiatives gravitating around collaboration in HPC and research data management. She represents CSC in Research Data Alliance and has been previously involved in preparing various European/Nordic efforts in HPC such as the LUMI project.
Maijastiina holds an MSSc in World Politics and is specialized in global political economy and global governance.
In HANAMI, she leads the efforts on sustainability of the EU-Japan collaboration.
