Dr Fabrizio Gagliardi will organise the HANAMI High-Level Symposium 2024 in Barcelona, and he will co-lead WP3.

Dr Gagliardi has been a senior advisor to the Barcelona Supercomputing Centre leadership for their long-term international strategy since 2013. He promoted and established several international collaborations, such as the Memos of Understanding between BSC and Riken and BSC and Fujitsu. He is the Director of the ACM Summer School in HPC Computing Architectures for AI and Dedicated Applications since 2019, and he has led the organisation of the EU-ASEAN HPC school in 2021 and 2022.

Since 2013, he was a distinguished research director at the Polytechnic University of Barcelona. From 2005 to 2013, he was Director for external scientific research and collaboration, responsible for EMEA and LATAM, at Microsoft Research.
